Refurbishment of the media library of the city of Sfax

Project

The present refurbishment project of the Sfax Media Library consists of :

• Restoration and refurbishment of the building
• Its refurbishment and rehabilitation of the Learning Resources Center (LRC)
• The creation of an access to the forecourt and the surroundings of the LRC
• Creation of two mezzanines in the old cathedral and refurbish the latest (2100m²).

The project is thus composed of :

• A ground floor of 2100m2 of covered area including a reception, a cafeteria, an educational workshop, a temporary and modular exhibition space, a multi-format performance space, an administration etc.
• A mezzanine level of 680m2 including a storytelling space for children, an individual and group work space, a relaxation area etc.
• A satellite level of 320m2 comprising an individual and group workspace, a group workspace, meeting rooms etc.
